OUR LENTEN WEEKLY PROGRAM THIS YEAR INVITES EVERYONE TO TAKE UP THE HABIT OF FELLOWSHIP THROUGH GAMES. EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT IN LENT, WE WILL HAVE A SIMPLE MEAL OF SOUP AND POTLUCK SUPPER (INCLUDING KID FRIENDLY FOODS). IF YOU CAN HELP WITH A SOUP ON ONE OF THE FRIDAYS, THE SIGNUP SHEET AND SOUP INFORMATION IS ON THE COUNTER BY THE KITCHEN WINDOW IN THE TILFORD ROOM (PARISH HALL). AFTER, OR DURING SUPPER IF YOU ARE A SLOW EATER OR GET THERE A LITTLE LATE, WE WILL INVITE PEOPLE TO PLAY A GAME.

REHEARSALS AND INVITATION TO NEW MEMBERS: The Alleluia Singers continue to rehearse each Sunday, 8:45-9:30am, in the Children’s Chapel. We are always welcoming new members in Grades 2-8. Contact Sue Correll, Director.

SINGGG (Sing God’s Glory) 2010
SINGGG (Sing God's Glory) will be held July 26 - 30. This is a sacred music, art and choir camp for children who have completed grades 1 - 7. The host church for this year’s camp will be announced at a later date. Make plans to send your child now. We will be recruiting volunteers, youth and adults, to assist teachers with classes, help in the kitchen, handle registration and help choir directors with children during rehearsals. The camp usually has 75-100 participants from the Winchester-Frederick and Clarke County areas. Registration will begin in May. If you would like to be placed on our mailing list, contact Sue Correll, Co-Director.
BANI MISSION TRIP 2010
OUR NEXT MISSION TRIP TO BANI IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC WILL BE JULY 31ST THROUGH AUGUST 10TH.
THE TRIP HAVE TWO COMPONENTS, ONE WITH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AND ONE WITH LIGHT CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE PROJECTS. PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE BOTH TYPES OF MINISTRY ON THIS MISSION TRIP. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR CANNOT ATTEND, BUT WANT TO BE INCLUDED IN FURTHER MEETINGS, PLEASE CONTACT WEBSTER OR ANN AT THE CHURCH OFFICE.
3RD PLACE, WINCHESTER
3rd place gatherings are intentional meetings where graduate students, young professional “20-30 somethings” can gather to make new friends and build new relationships. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY :Tuesday at both 10:30 am in the Children's Chapel, 7 pm in the Parlors. Victims, Victors, Violence and Virgins (V4) is the topic of the study. No previous Bible Study experience necessary. BYOB.

TREASURE BOX NEWS Grand Spring Opening is upon us. Please visit the shop to see all of our new items.
The Treasure Box reopened March 3, with its Spring Collection and a preview of Summer Wear.
Volunteers are needed to work in the shop for the coming year 2010. Please consider a commitment of as little as 1 shift (3 hours morning or afternoon) a month in return for fun, great shopping and a chance to meet and greet lots of members of our congregation. Working with us for as little as 3 hours a month (or more) can help insure that the Treasure Box will continue to be a viable contributor to the Christ Church Outreach Program. The Treasure Box plans to donate over $16,000 to community organizations and charities this year. Please contact Sara Bicking at 635-4452 to sign up for volunteering in the Treasure Box.

KNIT UNTO OTHERS: The Christ Curch Prayer Shawl ministry will meet the first Monday (7-8:30pm) & Third Tuesday (2-3:30pm) each month in the parlors. Please bring supplies, patterns to share and enjoy the felllowship of this important new ministry. FOOD CARDS – we are helping people by providing cards for food. These are available from both Martins & Food Lion.
If you wish to donate a $10- card please place in the offering plate at any service or drop off at the office.
PARISH NURSE, St. Helen Zebarth will be in residence at her office between church services from 9:15am to 10:15am. She can also meet with parishioners on an appointment basis at a time convenient to all during the week. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact Helen .
